Winter Wonderland

This was after the massive snow storm we had last night. On my way to work I was driving through our apartment complex and I took this pretty picture!

To Die for French Dip!!!

So I realized I have a long time obsession with french dip sandwiches and I wanted to learn how to make it so I got adventurous and looked for recipes and I SCORED! I made it and it was amazing!

Crock Pot French Dip Recipe:

1 French Bread Roll
1-3 pounds of Sliced Roast Beef Lunch Meat ( It depends on how much you like meat)
2-3 Slices of cheese your choice ( mozzarella, provolone, Swiss)
6 cups of warm water
3 cubes of beef bouillon
1/2 Onion in long slices
1 tsp Rosemary
1 tsp thyme
1 or 2 Bay Leaves whole ( you can use chopped, I did and it turned out great)
1/4 C Worcestershire sauce

In your Crock Pot add water, beef bouillon, onion, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, and Roast Beef. Set it to the high setting for 4 hours. You want to make sure that the meat is all covered in the sauce in the Crock Pot. I cut the bread and buttered it then browned it in the oven on the broiler for a minute or two then I added the cheese and melted it in the oven for another few minutes. When the meat in the crock pot is all hot it is done. Seperate the meat from the the juices in the crock pot. Keep the juice in the crock pot, that will be your Aus Jus dipping sauce. Add the meat to the bread and pour the Juice into a cup for dipping. and ENJOY!!
