He proposed and she said YES!

We went to the temple in SLC to do a session. We enjoyed the calm peaceful spirit in the temple. Then we went to lunch at Crown Burger. Preston got an intense burger and I got a salad, it was yummy. That afternoon Preston told me to keep busy in town because he has a secret date that he needs to prepare for. So I went and got my nails done and walked around the mall. He told me earlier that week that I needed to buy myself a new dress, a formal dress. So i went home and showered and got into my new dress. I waited for him to come pick me up in a wonderful suit with a stunning red tie. We got in the car and I thought it was going to take a long time to get to where ever we needed to go. He drove down and around the street and back to his house and I was stunned to see, his whole walkway to the house all decorated. Lanterns filled the walkway, vines and flowers all the way to the front door which had a sign with an Italian name on it. We walked in and the whole house was transformed. All different decorations and furniture. There were candles everywhere, I mean everywhere. Floating in water and just candle sticks burning. Classical music was playing and we were seated by PW, Preston's dad. The front room was completely converted into a little Italian restaurant. I just cried the moment I saw the candle lit table for two, it was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me, and definitely the most special. We sat down and had Italian water and Italian flavored water. We were given menus and it had a ton of yummy things on it. We were given brushetta and cheese sticks, then salad. We talked and ate and enjoyed each other's company. We were then served the main courses, which was a sample of 5 different Italian dishes.
     Paula's Best Friend Debbie and her husband Doug served their mission in Italy so they were the chef's behind the scenes. It was soooooo yummy and we ate a ton. Then as our yummy cheesecake came out Preston walked into the other room. PW came in and turned on our song "Marry Me" by Train and I started crying as Preston came out with a dozen red roses and my ring tied to it. He got down on one knee and asked if I would Marry him not only today and every day but forever and a day. I just bawled and said YES! He put the ring on my finger and we danced to our song.
     It was amazing, I had no idea what was going to happen and it was fabulous! We are getting married June 24,2011 in the Logan,UT temple. A open house will follow that, along with a week later July 9,2011 we will be in Cali for another reception and ring ceremony. We are so in love and couldn't be happier!
